Cattle Roundup, Eastern Oregon, 1940s
A cattle roundup in Eastern Oregon in the 1940s. The high-desert ranching country east of the Cascades supported a substantial cattle industry through the mid-twentieth century, and the Pendleton Round-Up (founded 1910) made the imagery commercially valuable for regional and national publications.
