A skier on the slopes of Mt. Hood in the 1940s. Pacific Northwest alpine skiing was just emerging as a mass-market recreation in the postwar era, and Photo-Art Studio's ski-resort coverage supplied imagery to regional tourism agencies and ski-equipment advertisers.
